Cajun Boiled Lobster / New England Boiled Lobster

Cajun Boiled Lobster

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients:

* 1 Large pot
* 3 gallons water
* 6 oz liquid crab boil
* 2 seasoning packs of crab boil
* 2 large yellow onions quartered
* 3 lemons, quartered
* 1/2 box salt
* 3 heads garlic
* 1 lb butter
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* liquid hickory smoke flavoring
* 4 1.5 pound Lobsters (Any size works. Cooking time will vary)
* cayenne pepper to taste

New England Boiled Lobster
PREP = 30 min | COOK = 15 min | READY IN = 45 min

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients:

* 1 Large pot
* 3 gallons water
* 1 box Old Bay Seasoning
* 2 lemons sliced
* 1 cup salt
* 4 1.5 pound lobsters (Any size works. Cooking time will vary)

Directions:

1. Pour the water into a large pot and add the ingredients from above…you choose New England or Cajun.

2. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil for 20 minutes.

3. Add the lobsters and place a lid over the pot. Boil for 15 minutes (depending on the size of your lobsters). Remove the lobsters from the pot, and place in a colander under cool running water to stop the cooking.

4. Serve with lots of melted butter and napkins.
